Artist Statement
Although I have worked with a wide range of techniques and disciplines throughout my artistic career, my current practice is centered on painting. I feel a strong need to transform everyday objects and textile patterns into spaces imbued with emotional and historical significance. Through still lifes and domestic interiors, I reconstruct childhood memories and scenes that evoke nostalgia, cultural heritage, and feminine rituals.
My paintings are born from mental images–vague moments, sensations, and atmospheres that linger in memory. These intimate and ornamental compositions reinterpret the everyday from a sensitive perspective, where the home is not merely a setting, but the symbolic and emotional core of my work.
Painting allows me to suspend time within imagined spaces, where the fleeting and the ordinary become a visual testimony of deeply personal experience.
